T. Lang is a choreographer and Artistic Director of her company, T. Lang Dance. Lang engages the next generation of movement artists through her SWEATSHOP summer dance intensive and as an Associate Professor and founding Department Chair of Dance at Spelman College.
The Movement Lab by T. Lang Dance supports women of African descent and their allies through community-based programming and by providing affordable rental space. Through The Movement Lab, T. Lang is building an incubator for creative thought, entrepreneurship, experimentation, and community.

T. Lang Dance is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit that offers educational and arts programming for social justice-grounded dance and movement. As home to T. Lang Dance, the studio is the primary site for the company's premiere performances, rehearsals, and community workshops.
